Collaboration with BIG at Ogilvy + Mather to develop a new store concept for Famous Footwear’s over 1000 stores.
The brief from the company was to upgrade the brand’s in store experience while not loosing any of the efficiencies of the warehouse layout. All the stock is on the floor and self serve with only one to two employees.
We re-tuned the checkout as a concierge located within a central browsing street. Information kiosks and improved brand messaging are focused along this corridor. Floating storage was added to create a continuous display zone throughout the store. This allowed light ascents to highlight the display shoes instead of the box storage.
